Dreamy Summer Elopement at the Sand Dunes, Colorado

Jessica & JJ ditched their big wedding plans in Florida and eloped in Colorado instead. They reached out to us about 2 months before the big day (July 11, their 10 year anniversary!). We stayed at the Frontier Drive Inn nearby the night before which is so cute! There aren’t many options for places to stay near the sand dunes, so we were excited and pleasantly surprised, would do again.

We took getting ready photos in their suite at 3:30 AM- the earliest elopement we’ve ever done apart from our own. They chose to have their sunrise vow exchange at Great Sand Dunes National Park & Preserve, and the soft light and dreamy colors before the sun came up were so magical. You can see for yourself in the photos below. Their whole gallery just exudes romance and serenity to me.

Jessica & JJ are the most kind and warm souls. They really welcomed us with wide open arms into their lives, and we feel so grateful that our paths crossed! It was an epic morning and a beautiful way for them to tie the knot.
