Untraditional Fall Micro-Wedding // Idaho Springs, CO
This fall micro-wedding is one of my favorite days we have ever been apart of, and some of my favorite work we’ve done. I am absolutely obsessed with these two and their magical day. The vibes were adventure, romance, intimacy, simplicity! Every moment was so “them” and so carefree, focused on what truly matters (just the two of them celebrating their love).
The day started with a first look and private vows at 11,000 feet off of Juniper Pass. It was beautiful, sunny, insanely windy and cold- though you wouldn’t know it by looking at these photos! It was epic and emotional, exactly what they wanted.
Later in the evening, right on the cusp of golden hour, they had a small ceremony surrounded by 10 family members/friends at Blackstone Rivers Ranch in Idaho Springs, CO. That golden light was straight out of a movie coming through those aspen and pine trees. They opted for romantic simplicity in their decor- no arch necessary with that backdrop. Even Meghan’s veil was on a gorgeous phantom wind the whole day, it was magic!
I loved a lot about this day, but one thing that really stood out to me was during the ceremony when Meghan & Louie incorporated a moment to just look at their guests and take in the moment, let it all sink in. Ceremonies are so special, and it was one of the best moments to watch their faces and see their happiness shine through to everyone there.
The evening ended with a gorgeous dinner in front of the fireplace and a few dances. A fox decided it wanted to join their first dance haha. The cutest wedding crasher ever!!
